Nintendo of America is selling its majority stake the Seattle Mariners to a group of local owners headed by minority owner John Stanton. The sale values the team at $1.4 billion and will be finalized in August, at which time Mariners Chairman and CEO Howard Lincoln, 76, will retire. Stanton will then take the reins as CEO.
