If you hear gunfire coming from the area of Fort Gordon on Friday and Saturday, it is probably just a drill. The Army base has scheduled routine live fire training both days from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to a statement. Communities on the western portion of the fort’s training complex might hear gunshots or detonations in the vicinity of Fort Gordon, the Army said.
