KINGSTON – Lawyers have an additional week to work out a resolution of the trespass charge against community activist and organizer Callie Jayne.Bryan Rounds, the Kingston lawyer representing Jayne, made the request Tuesday morning to Kingston City Judge Philip Kirschner, who granted it. Rounds said he had preliminary discussions with the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office, which was represented Tuesday in court by Assistant District Attorney Jarrid Blades.
