Family Fearful Of Return To Mexico -'every Morning There Are Dead People'

A Pontiac woman whose father brought her from Mexico in 2009 after she was threatened by a drug cartel said her perception of her adopted country changed for the worse after Nov. 8. Suadiz, 20, lives on the city's north side with her parents and three siblings.The Oakland Press is identifying members of the family only by their first names due to their immigration status because the perspective they provide would not be possible to report and share with the community any other way.
