Two federal court rulings on health exchange subsidies won't affect business owners or residents in Hawaii, which has its own state-run exchange called the Hawaii Health Connector. A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C., ruled Tuesday that the federal government cannot provide tax credits through its exchange, which operates in 36 states.
