The U.S. government is seeking $6 million in back taxes and penalties from a former Atlanta doctor. In a complaint filed in federal court in Atlanta on Sept. 11, the feds say Paula Nelson, also known as Paula Nelson Adesokan, owes $5,040,797 in tax liabilities and interest and $971,611 in trust fund recovery penalties plus interest. Nelson formerly operated a medical practice in several states including Georgia, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, New Jersey, and North Carolina.
