The owner of the controversial Motorama Motel has filed a lawsuit against Ferndale for denying him a license to operate.Phil Patel, owner of Krishna Krupa Inc. which operates the motel, and his attorneys filed the suit last week and are seeking to keep the motel open and collect a monetary judgement from the city of more than $25,000.
