Ferro Boosts 1q, 2013 Profit Predictions

CLEVELAND (AP) — Ferro Corp. on Tuesday boosted its first-quarter earnings guidance, citing better-than-expected results from its cost-cutting efforts. The Cleveland-based specialty chemicals maker said it now expects to post an adjusted profit of 5 cents to 7 cents per share for the quarter ended March 31, up from its previous prediction of 2 cents to 5 cents per share.
