Fire Spreads Near Sisters, Forcing Evacuation

Firefighters attacked the blaze at noon. By 4 p.m., officials ordered an evacuation. Conditions improved overnight, allowing firefighters to aggressive attack the blaze which has spread to about 1,340 acres.
