Firefighters quickly contained a half-acre fire that had threatened some buildings in Herriman on Thursday afternoon, fire officials said. The fire was located near 7000 West and Rose Canyon Road, according to a news release from Unified Fire Authority. Firefighters had headed the scene at about 4:15 p.m. Official said at about 4:30 p.m.
