A California man who ran a website where sex workers and pimps could offer their services was sentenced to 13 months in prison and ordered to forfeit $1.28 million in cash and property. Prosecutors said the case involved the nation's first Web operator convicted of federal charges for running a site dedicated to advertising the world's oldest profession. 53-year-old Eric Omuro, who went by "Red" and other handles, pleaded guilty in December.
