By Dave CatheyThe Pritchard, 1749 NW 16 St., hosted a watch party last Thursday for its chef’s appearance on Food Network’s “Beat Bobby Flay,” which ended in victory.The restaurant was packed to the gills to watch Shelby “The General’s Daughter” Sieg first vanquish Miami, Fla., pastry chef Jessica Scott before taking on the show’s star.To defeat Scott, Sieg used her considerable cruller-game in a ginger challenge to advance.After taming fresh ginger, Sieg then tamed the 44-year-old ginger whose name is in the title of the show in an olive oil cake challenge.As her victory was announced, the kitchen at The Pritchard sent out samples of the winning Lemon Thyme Olive Oil Cake with Fig Caramel, hazelnuts and fresh whipped lemon cream.Read more on NewsOK.com
