Flooding Follows Snow In Part Of Newport

NEWPORT, R.I. — Some streets in the city experienced flooding at high tide Tuesday morning.John Brennan, who lives on Houston Avenue, said he left to take his daughter to the bus stop this morning and found the streets were flooded with about a foot of water.Flooding is not uncommon on this side of town, Brennan said in a telephone interview Tuesday.
