Florida Judge Dismisses Officer's Manslaughter Charge In Shooting Death

TAMPA, Fla. (Reuters) - A Florida judge on Wednesday dismissed a manslaughter charge against a sheriff's deputy who shot to death a black man carrying an air rifle, after the law enforcement officer argued that he acted in self-defense, his attorney said.
