Two westbound lanes of Forest Avenue in Portland are closed Tuesday morning as crews investigate an oil spill near the roadway. The outbound lanes are closed near Exit 6 of I-295, which is also the area of a ramp construction project. Ted Talbot, spokesman for the Maine Department of Transportation, said crews are still trying to determine the source of the oil. Drivers are being asked to find alternative routes around the area. This story will be updated.
