Former Byng Athlete Honored For Third Time

Former Byng athlete honored for third time TONKAWA — Raetchel Gray of Allen has been selected by Northern Oklahoma College head women’s basketball coach Greg Krause as women’s basketball player of the week. This makes the third time this season Krause has chosen Gray for the honor. “For the week’s conference games versus Eastern and Redlands, Raetchel averaged 19 points per game, 4.5 rebounds per game, 4.5 assists per game, 1.5 steals per game and shot 13-23 from the field and 6-12 from the three point line,” Krause said. Gray, a 5’7” sophomore, graduated from Byng High School. The women’s basketball team finished season play with a 17-13 record and a 10-8 conference record.Read more on NewsOK.com
