Former three-term Colorado Gov. Richard “Dick” Lamm died Thursday night at age 85. He was one of the longest-serving governors in the state’s history, and is remembered for a complicated legacy of both independent-minded leadership when it came to opposing the Olympics and fighting for abortion rights and a later-in-life hardline stance on immigration. “With great sadness, but also gratitude for a life well lived and in service to his beloved Colorado, I want to share the news of the death of my husband, former Governor Richard D.
