Former Navy SEAL Christopher Heben was silent before and after he appeared in court Thursday to answer to charges that he lied about how he was shot earlier this year.Five Cleveland television crews attended the Akron Municipal Court hearing, engulfing Heben as he got off the seventh-floor elevator and made his way to the clerk’s office.Heben, dressed in a dark blue sport coat, slacks, an open-collar blue shirt and tan half-boots, stood calmly next to his attorney, Jim Burdon, and let him do all of the talking.Burdon said he advised Heben not to make any comments about the incident.Bath Township police charged Heben, Burdon said, “because apparently they do not believe the story that he gave them.
