AUGUSTA – Former President George H.W. Bush and former first lady Barbara Bush are endorsing Maine Gov. Paul LePage in his re-election bid. In a statement Wednesday, the Bushes called LePage a “get-it-done-leader” who’s committed to solving Maine’s problems. They applauded his effort to eliminate the state’s hospital debt and said they “strongly support his bid for another four well-deserved years.” LePage is running against Democratic U.S.
