Former Teacher To Give Lecture On Aftermath Of World War Ii D-day Invasion

Many people are familiar with the Allied invasion at Normandy during World War II on D-Day, June 6, 1944.Less known are the events of the 11 weeks that followed, says Jim Craft, a former teacher who will give a lecture on the subject at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 26 at Pine Grove, the Oakland County Pioneer and Historical Society Headquarters, 405 Cesar Chavez Ave.
