The Fox River is open to normal boating from the Algonquin dam to the McHenry dam. The Fox Waterway Agency announced the change, effective at 9 a.m. Monday. A debris advisory remains in effect. The agency on Friday opened Zones B and C on the river, which extend from the McHenry dam north to the Wisconsin state line and include the inter-connected lakes in the system. There was no flooding along the Fox River as of Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
