Less than one month after environmental and voter organizations challenged the state of Wisconsin’s approval for Foxconn Technology Group to use Lake Michigan water for the planned Mount Pleasant complex, the company said it will spend $30 million on a system that will reduce its daily water use by more than 50 percent. The water recycling system at the Wisconn Valley Science and Technology Park is called a zero-liquid discharge system, Foxconn said Tuesday.
