Southeast Texans may have to turn up the heat as the National Weather Service in Lake Charles is warning the region to expect freezing temperatures with starting Thursday evening and continuing on into Saturday. Temperatures reportedly could drop as low as 26 degrees wind chills dropping into the mid-20s. Warmer temperatures are expected to return on Sunday, which has an expected high of 70 degrees, along with a chance of rain and thunderstorms.
