It was a day forever etched in her memory. On December 27, 2012, Misty Adams gave birth to a beautiful baby girl who not only had a serious heart defect, but Down syndrome as well. She and her husband, Brad, were devastated and unprepared for this daunting challenge. But although faced with the fear of the unknown, Misty said that their fear quickly changed into joy that continues today for their precious daughter.
