In the state, prices held steady compared with last week, at $1.81 per gallon on average, according to prices reported by GasBuddy.com. “Gasoline prices over the weekend and holiday were certainly quite cheap compared to prior years and other holidays this year,” said Patrick DeHaan, GasBuddy senior petroleum analyst, in a statement.
