Garcia Marquez Archive Goes To University Of Texas

The university's Harry Ransom Center announced Monday that the collection spans more than 50 years and includes original manuscript material for 10 books, including his acclaimed 1967 novel, "One Hundred Years of Solitude." The collection includes drafts of Garcia Marquez's acceptance speech for his 1982 Nobel Prize in Literature, and 2,000 pieces of correspondence, such as letters to novelists Carlos Fuentes and Graham Greene.
