Tim Lincecum grabbed a Ben Zobrist comebacker, failed to get a good grip on the ball and heaved it into center field. Later in the inning, a Brandon Crawford throw home bounced away from Hector Sanchez. Lincecum, backing up home plate, did not retrieve the ball, and runner Billy Butler took an extra base. Gregor Blanco missed two cutoff men on a throw back to the infield.
