GIPSON By Bobby Harrison Daily Journal Jackson Bureau JACKSON – House Judiciary B Chair Andy Gipson, R-Braxton, who has faced criticism in recent days for killing legislation that would make domestic violence grounds for divorce, has revived a version of the legislation. Gipson, a Baptist minister, was able to amend a bill dealing with making technical changes to the laws surrounding abused children to add spousal abuse as a grounds for divorce. The proposal, passed Monday, now goes back to the Senate where members can accept the House bill and send it to Gov.
