Glendale Moves Forward With Budget, Money For Phoenix Coyotes Deal

The city of Glendale moved forward with a preliminary budget that would give $17 million to the new buyers of the Phoenix Coyotes. Business Journal reporter Mike Sunnucks wrote the city is considering a budget that would give the money to the team's potential new owners as an arena management fee for Jobing.com Arena. The deal is one step in the process in getting the team sold from the National Hockey League, which bought it out of bankruptcy, into the hands of a group led by Greg Jamison.
