After talking with President Obama for two hours, Republicans said Tuesday that they were “pleased” and remained committed to finding “common ground.” “The president did make the important point that he hasn’t spent much time with us – reaching out and talking to us, and committed to do so,” incoming House Speaker John Boehner, who said the meeting was “very nice,” told reporters.
