A Gorham man was hospitalized for serious injuries after police say he crashed while trying to evade a sheriff’s deputy early Saturday morning. Joseph Turner, 26, is facing charges for operating under the influence and driving with a revoked license, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office. Turner has several OUI convictions, the sheriff’s office said. Shortly after midnight on Friday, a sheriff’s deputy saw Turner driving erratically down the wrong lane on Chadbourne Road in Standish.
