Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers on Wednesday signed a bill that will ultimately end the collection of sales tax for the construction of Miller Park. With the signing of the bill – 2019 Wisconsin Act 28 – the collection of the 0.1% sales tax that has been in effect since 1996 in five counties to cover the $524 million construction and interest cost for the stadium, will officially end on or before Aug.
