Nathan Deal cited significant growth in the film industry and progress toward deepening the Port of Savannah as major accomplishments during a campaign stop in Effingham County on Thursday. Deal told about 200 people at the New Ebenezer Retreat and Conference Center that Georgia is ranked third in the country and fifth in the world in film production.
