(AP) — The Appalachian Regional Commission has approved $500,000 in funding to expand sewer service in the eastern Kentucky city of Irvine. The money will be used to expand and upgrade the city's wastewater collection system and provide new service to 219 households in the Wisemantown community and improve sewer service for 354 households and 86 businesses in West Irvine.
