As rock and blues and soul music fans mourn the death of Gregg Allman at 69 on Saturday, we couldn't help thinking back to a 2011 interview we'd done with him. He'd had the liver transplant in 2010, and had a bit of a setback on a European tour after that, but was still eager to get back out on the road performing.
