I never cease to be amazed when I put one of these flimsy, plastic-feeling mats on my charcoal grill to cook chopped vegetables. Somehow, it withstands the heat of the red hot coals just inches below. They are great for grilling corn, zucchini, peppers, mushrooms, etc. I pour a little olive oil on the mat and salt to taste.
