Guest Commentary: May 5 Is Tax Freedom Day

Massachusetts Tax Day is actually May 5. No this doesn’t mean you have until May 5 to file your returns with the Internal Revenue Service or the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.May 5 is Tax Freedom Day. That’s the day you work to in the year to pay off your tax burden.
