Police are investigating after a vehicle was shot multiple times on Ellis Street early Monday. Rashad Nipples, 21, called police after shots were fired at his home on the 1900 block of Ellis Street soon after midnight. Nipples told police he hit the floor after he heard shots being fired. After the shooting stopped, he found his vehicle had been shot, an incident report stated.
