Gurley Falsely Accused Of Bar Punch

ATHENS, Ga. -- University of Georgia running back Todd Gurley was falsely accused of assaulting a man early Sunday in a downtown Athens bar, Athens-Clarke County police said. The accuser, a 20-year-old UGA student, called police from his home at about 3:18 a.m. to report that he’d been punched by Gurley more than an hour earlier at the Bourbon Street Bar & Grill on Broad Street, police said.
