Staff reportsHarding Charter Preparatory High School recently hosted its first Career Day. There were 35 professionals from different metro-area companies giving presentations in three different sessions.Students enrolled in three career paths they were interested in researching and then attended 45-minute sessions with professionals from their chosen interests.The sessions provided a venue where students could ask their professional presenters questions regarding their work days, the opportunities in their fields and the path they had taken in their careers.Speakers represented professions ranging from graphic artists, to law enforcement, to dentistry, and five different engineering fields were represented.“The students were engaged, the professionals thoroughly were impressed with our students and the faculty felt this was a valuable day, therefore, we felt it was a very successful day,” Principal Steven Stefanick said.Read more on NewsOK.com
