CNN host Dana Bash confronted Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) after he tried to flip every question about Donald Trump into an attack on President Joe Biden.
During a Sunday interview on CNN, Bash noted that some Republicans like Steve Bannon had suggested Biden tried to assassinate Trump because a search warrant on Mar-a-Lago authorized deadly force.
"Federal prosecutors are now asking for a gag order in that classified documents case after the former president said that FBI agents who searched Mar-a-Lago were, quote, locked and loaded, ready to take me out, and that he nearly escaped death," Bash noted.
Libertarians unloaded on Donald Trump on Saturday night, and it was incredible to hear all of the boos and heckling the Republican candidate had to endure. Meanwhile, Trump had to stand there and take it. Most of us never imagined we'd be cheering on the Libertarians, but these are strange times.
Alina Habba, Donald Trump's attorney, said she had "worries" about jurors in her client's hush money trial being influenced by liberals and losing "all sense of reality" over the Memorial Day weekend.
During a Sunday interview on Fox News, guest host Sean Duffy complained because Justice Juan Merchan delayed closing arguments and jury deliberations until after the holiday weekend.
"I want to tell you what, there's a silver lining in this, Alina," Duffy said.
Former President Donald Trump shared a video of a verbal attack on MSNBC host Joe Scarborough that was filled with expletives.
In a Truth Social Memorial Day message, Trump reposted a video from an Instagram account called "dannyboyhustlehard," which was also shared by Laura Loomer.
"I can't wait for uncle Donnie to win," the protester tells Scarborough.
A lot of folks discovered who Jasmine Crockett is this week. But she's been destroying bad-faith-Republican arguments and bad-faith Republicans for a while. She has an amazing ability to take Republicans apart with a big smile and "you're doing great" condescension as she does it.
A happy warrior.
And an incredibly effective one in trying to preserve our fragile democracy.
Donald Trump was met with continuous rounds of boos and catcalls as he spoke at the Libertarian Convention Saturday evening.
Unable to fill the audience with MAGAts and paid Trump supporters, every time Trump tried to brag about himself he was shouted down vociferously.
When Trump said the Libertarian Party should nominate Trump for president the boos turned into a cacophony.
