Another top administrator hired by the embattled former University of Akron President Scott Scarborough is leaving.Lakeesha Ransom, vice provost and dean of the Drs. Gary B and Pamela S. Williams Honors College, has submitted her resignation, effective Dec. 31.Ransom, who came to UA in 2015 from the University of Toledo, where Scarborough had served as provost, was paid an annual salary of $226,000.She will help the university in its “leadership transition,” UA said in a prepared statement issued Tuesday.Vice Provost Sarah Cravens will serve as interim dean of the honors college beginning Jan.
