Stories Related to Heartbeat Abortion Bill Approved In Ohio Senate, Headed For House

Ohio is poised to become the third state to pass a law outlawing abortions once a fetal heartbeat can be detected, generally about six weeks into pregnancy. Majority Republicans in the Ohio Senate engineered passage of the so-called Heartbeat Bill by a 21-10 vote today after it was amended into an unrelated House-passed bill dealing with child abuse.
