Colorado presidential hopefuls Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper are returning to the presidential primary debate stage later this month. The state’s senior U.S. senator and the former two-term governor will join 18 other Democrats July 30 and 31 in Detroit for the second round of primary debates. The two-night event will be broadcast on CNN. Unlike the last debate, the two Colorado candidates will not share the stage on the same night: Hickenlooper will debate July 30 and Bennet will debate July 31. The July debates likely are Hickenlooper’s and Bennet’s last chance to make an impression on the national stage during the primary season.
