Police are investigating a crash at the intersection of Townsend & Forbes that was reportedly the result of a pursuit of a stolen car. Connecticut State Police were involved in a high-speed pursuit on I-95 south on Friday afternoon, according to emergency radio reports. The pursuit was first going northbound from Exit 56 until around Exit 60, but the driver of the stolen vehicle reportedly got off in Madison and got back on the southbound side of the highway.
