Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort has completed a $7 million renovation of its Tapa Conference Center, which includes the 16,536-square-foot Tapa Ballroom, Palace Lounge, Honolulu Suites and Iolani Suites, the hotel said Thursday. Honolulu-based Pacific Asia Design Group, Inc. was the interior designer on the project and consulted with the Bishop Museum to create traditional tapa-inspired designs, as the building would suggest.
