LEHMAN TWP. — Over the course of the last three years, Holy Redeemer has been in several battles with Wyoming Seminary in boys soccer. The Royals pushed the Blue Knights to the limit in nearly of all their previous eight meetings. Even when Redeemer finally defeated Sem last month, it couldn’t put the Knights away in a matchup a few weeks later as the squads settled for a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 tie. But on Monday, all the frustrations of the past went away as Holy Redeemer defeated Wyoming Seminary 3-2 at Lake-Lehman High School to win the tie-breaking match for the division title, its first-ever division title in boys soccer in school history.
