A makeover is coming Monday to part of a Jacksonville program that’s been helping children for 130 years. With paintbrushes in hand, the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors’ community affairs task force will tackle one of its biggest volunteer projects — renovating the Project Prepare transitional living unit at Daniel. After each 240-square-foot apartment is painted at the mental health, social services and educational program provider for children and families on Parental Home Road, the association will give the teens more to help them prepare for their lives ahead. read more
