COTTEKILL - One homeowner was injured and two firefighters were overcome by heat when a three-alarm blaze broke out in a home on Lucas Avenue in Cottekill on Monday, officials said.According to Cottekill Assistant Fire Chief David Gagman, the fire started under the front porch, and the owner of the home suffered burns as he tried to put the fire out by himself.The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.The fire department was notified about flames coming from the [...]
