Honolulu Banks Take The Four Corner Downtown Challenge For Salvation Army

Four downtown banks participated in the Salvation Army's First Annual "Four Corner Downtown Challenge" Monday. Bank executives from American Savings Bank, Bank of Hawaii, First Hawaiian Bank and Hawaii National Bank competed against each other by bell ringing on their respective corners of the intersection at Bishop and King Streets, while festivities for the official statewide kick-off of the Red Kettles and Angel Trees took place at Tamarind Park.
